This blog is different from the rest of the site. The site is for learning. The blog is just for learning how to learn. Not even that: the blog is on a large part just an assembly of thoughts and experiences which do not necessarily help you learn and might just have you expend your time without a return in terms of new knowledge.
I noticed that a lot of people just read material about how to learn online instead of actually doing it. They end up not learning anything at all like this. This is what I want I Kinda Like Languages not to be. I want the site to be about action. However, I know that sometimes some time expenditure elsewhere is inevitable and sometimes it can even be quite fun.
This is what I have made this blog for: it can help me express my ideas, experiences and news about the site and yet if you prefer to concentrate on actually learning languages instead of reading about them, you can just opt out from reading this blog. The same is true for the forums: they usually do not really help you learn but they can be a useful tool. And if you prefer to save your time, just do not use it.
Otherwise, if you are okay with not learning for a bit, I am planning to have a lot of interesting stories, tips, news, personal epiphanies, random tidbits of information and other stuff here on the blog. Welcome aboard.
