Such format lets you read and improve your Swedish easily regardless of your level.

I am learning Swedish even more. I have practically ceased doing anything but reading a book with audio in Swedish. I have read 80 pages total which is not all that much if you consider the time needed to get good in Swedish. I have also found somebody to whom I occasionally text on Skype in Swedish. I find that pretty helpful in terms of learning informal speech, getting my mistakes corrected and my questions answered. I have delayed my stay in Sweden until the second half of June. I hope to make more progress when I’m there.

I have found a good resources which has simplified news with audio in Swedish and I am thankful to Erica who suggested it in the comments. A great site with news put very simply and if you go to Lyssna på lättlästa nyheter you can find news with transcripts every day; it is pretty good practice and you can do something informative. I have been listening to it from time to time.

I have also found a couple of podcasts, Sprich mal Schwedisch seems to be fair for German speakers. I do speak some German and it is on the border of enough for being able to understand this podcast so I do find this good practice.

I am also looking for language exchange partners (or rather just people who could teach me Swedish for free). I will especially need them when I am in Stockholm so if you are one, do not hesitate to write in the comments or contact me otherwise at lyzazel DOT _yaHOO_ . COM. That would be nice.

I am also working on another lanugage- related project and it might help me learn some Swedish too. I will probably have news on it in a couple of months. Stay tuned if you are interested.

Attention: If you want to learn or improve your Swedish, please try my Interlinear Swedish bilingual book.
