Let’s say now When I had time, I used to go for a walk.. When is quando, IPA ’kwando. Remember that for used to, Sambahsa uses an hyphenated prefix ee- before the verb conjugated in the present tense. Time, as a duration, is wakt, and to go for a walk is spassere. Both verbs, in this sentence, won’t have any conjugational ending (as in English), so you must use the pronoun io.

?When I had time, I used to go for a walk.|Quando io hieb wakt, io ee-spassere.
